Moscow Halal Expo-2017 receives patronage of CCI


The Moscow International Exhibition of halal products and services, Moscow Halal Expo, has received the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, according to the official web-site of the Exhibition, The Exhibition's organizer is the Russian company Alif Consult.

Vladimir Dmitriyev, Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, said that cooperation with the Moscow Halal Expo Exhibition project highlighted the role of the CCI in supporting foreign economic activity of Russian companies, promoting their products on foreign markets, and increasing competitiveness of Russian products in the promising halal sector. Currently Moscow Halal Expo is one of the biggest Russian platforms ensuring beneficial interaction of Russian and Arab businesses. «The support of Moscow Halal Expo demonstrates to Islamic business the interest that Russian companies have towards the Middle Eastern countries and our support of Arab business projects in Russia», — noted Vladimir Dmitriyev.

On 16-18 November 2017 the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre will host the 8th International Moscow Halal Expo Exhibition. Kirill Skogorev, general director of Alif Consult, said that taking into account the suppliers' suggestions, the Exhibition would be 3 times bigger and would include new departments, sectors and business programme sessions. The interest of Russian consumers to halal products is steadily growing. They give preference to high-quality products manufactured in compliance with the highest technological and ecological standards . A number of large Russian producers, such as Miratorg, Cherkizovo, GAP-Resurs and others are expanding their production facilities by manufacturing Russian halal products and supplying not only the domestic, but also the foreign market. The products of Russian halal producers are available in the biggest commercial chains of Russia, such as Х5 Retail Group, Bahetle, Azbuka vkusa, Auchan and public catering establishments.

In his introductory speech addressed to participants and organizers of Moscow Halal Expo Alexandr Tkachev, Minister of Agriculture, noted that the volumes of the specialized products output Has increased manifold in the country. Russian companies are succeeding in conquering foreign markets by supplying halal products to the UAE, Iran, Egypt and many other countries. And our foreign partners, in their turn, duly appreciate Russian products.
